Tai jealously glares at Qrow and Qrow glares back as Tai tells Qrow to 'stay away from his wife' before following Summer. Summer nods and kisses Qrow's head then Tai's lips before going to bed.

Tai watches as Summer caresses Qrow's cheek and asks if she's coming to bed. Qrow admits that he wishes he could figure out why Raven did this and Summer comments they can ask her once they get Yang back. Later that night Qrow sits alone letting the rain pour on him and Summer asks if he's ok. Another Huntsman named Gabriel Armaeno suggests they contact the local military for extra firepower but Ozpin says that might cause more problems then fix them and in fact might summon Grimm to the area but Gabriel points out that Grimm might show up anyway so what's the difference? Ozpin says his answer is no and that's the end of it. Qrow explains that the camp has some weaknesses if they can exploit them just right but they'll have to do it at dawn. Lykos nods and they get back to their camp where Summer and Tai are waiting with a younger Ozpin, Oobleck, Port, and Glynda. Lykos wonders what he means but Qrow doesn't go any further into it before commenting that they should get back to the others.

Qrow comments on how it's just his luck that the rain is pouring down. Chapter 10 opens in the past with Qrow and Lykos scouting Raven's camp as the rain begins to pour.
